Acetone method

- Pour about 200 milligrams of acetone into the iron container and cover the container with polyethylene, securing it with an elastic band. Then put the plate in a pot of hot water so that the acetone heats up properly.

Be very careful as acetone is a highly flammable liquid, so do not keep it near hot objects or an open source of fire.
- When the acetone has warmed, put it on the table and proceed to treat the skin on the fingers. Take regular petroleum jelly and lubricate the skin around the nail with a cotton swab. It is also worth lubricating the area just above the nail, almost to the middle of the finger.
- After soaking a cotton pad in warm acetone and wrap each nail with it. From above you need to wrap a fingernail with a strip of foil so that the acetone does not evaporate. Leave the lotions for 30 minutes, and then remove them and remove the remaining gel using ordinary cotton wool soaked in acetone.
- If the gel does not respond well, then you can slightly pry it. If you find that the gel has not softened, you can change the lotion to fresh and leave for another 15 minutes. After removing the gel, you need to go through the nail plate with a nail file, carefully polishing it. With this method, you will remove the remnants of the gel and correct your nails.

File cutting
Sawing is suitable for both gel nails and acrylic. Only in the second case will it take longer to tinker, since acrylic is much stronger than gel.
- You will need nail files with an abrasiveness of 80-100 and 150-240 grit, tip cutter, cotton pads, primer, buff, pusher, mask.
- Wear a mask before starting the procedure, because there will be a lot of dust. Use a tip cutter first. Cut the entire length of the extended nail, trying to cut the length directly under the root. Take a stiff nail file and start cutting off the gel. Your movements should only be in one direction. Saw off the gel gently, in layers, periodically brushing off the dust.
- When there is little gel left, then be on the alert, because your native nail is already nearby. Try not to damage it with a hard file, so cut off the gel with more calm movements. When you see a part of your nail for sure, change the file to a softer one and continue filing.
- Do not pick the gel, but cut it off with calm, smooth movements. When the gel is over, it's time to do trim manicure and in the process, be sure to polish your nails with a buff. And then it’s worth applying cosmetic oil or a moisturizer to the nail.
