Weaving braids to ourselves
Light braid harness
An elementary, but beautiful braid that you can braid yourself without much effort.
- Comb your hair and collect it at the back of your head in a tall, tight ponytail.
- After, divide it into two equal parts and twist each of them into a bundle. Twist the halves in one direction, so that in the end the braid turns out to be harmonious.
- After we intertwine our harnesses with each other, thereby forming a spiral.
- The tip of our pigtails is fixed with a volume elastic band with a decor or a shiny hairpin.
Pigtail Half Bezel
- The hair should be divided on the head so that the upper part, where we will weave our braid, is thinner. That is, we divide the hair in half using a horizontal parting.
- In the area of the ear, on the right or left side, depending on the location of your future braid, take 3 locks (not large) and start weaving three link braids out of them.
- After several interlacing, you need to pick up strands in the forehead, but do not take locks from the top of the head.
- Weave in this way the braid, which eventually forms a half-bezel. Your direction for weaving from one ear to another.
- You weave the tip of our braid in the same way as you started weaving.
- We fix our braid invisible, and the rest of the hair can be left loose or twisted into a bun.
Pigtail Bezel
Unlike the above option, this pigtail will cover the entire part of your head.
- The hair should be combed well, after they are divided into upper and lower parts with a horizontal parting.
- In the region of the ear, as in the previous version, we separate 3 strands and begin to weave three link braids out of it.
- We weave an ordinary braid, but we begin to add locks on both sides of the pigtail.
- When you reach the second ear, continue the usual weaving without pickup.
- After we fix the tip of the braid, and its links are slightly stretched to create the appearance of a volumetric rim.
Popular braids
French braids
- Hair needs to be combed and starting from above, in the area of the parietal zone, take part of the hair. Divide them into three locks and shift the first to the central one, and then put the third on it.
- After that, you need to take all three strands in your left hand and with your right hand take the strands on the right side that you need to shift to the right strand.
- The strand that you added needs to be shifted to the central one, and the side one should be taken to the side.
- Then add part of the hair on the left side to the left strand and shift the left strand to the central one, and move it to the left. You should get a tight braid.
- After you need to repeat steps 2 and 3 until you finish the braid to the end. When you finish the braid to the neck, then go to weaving a regular braid of three links. Fasten the braid with an elastic band or a beautiful, colorful bow.
- By the way, it is not necessary to switch to weaving an ordinary braid, but simply weave a French braid until the hair ends.
Scythe fish tail
- To work with hair was easier, you need to process them with mousse. This will help to remove excess fluffy hair, which will facilitate weaving.
- All hair needs to be combed back and in the area of the temples take one lock (not very thick) and cross both locks together at the back of the head. You should have a right lock on top of the left.
- Then select the lock on the left side and shift it to the right so that it is on top.
- Then we take the lock on the right and add to our locks. She should again be on top.
- We weave in this way our braid, adding strands to it from the left, then from the right.
- The tip of the pigtails is fixed with an elastic band.
Scythe dragon
- The hair needs to be combed, and after you select one lock in the forehead.
- Divide the lock into four identical parts, and then you need to shift the left to the right, and then cross with the third lock.
- The most extreme strand on the right side must be drawn under the central strands. Now this strand should be the second on the left side.
- Then you need to twist it with the third lock, and then add a new one to the first on the left side. Take part of the hair on the left side and do the above steps.
- But when you get to the fourth strand, you will need to add new strands to it. Then you need to shift it under the central to the second strand and twist it with the third strand on the left side.
- We weave our braid in this technique to the very end, and after that we fix the tail with an elastic band.
- To make the braid look voluminous, you can pull strands from its links.
Boxing Pigtails
- To make hair easier to comb, use a spray for easy combing, or mousse.
- After divide the hair into two parts with a vertical parting. To prevent one part of the hair from interfering with weaving, secure it with an elastic band.
- From the working side, take a strand in the area of the parietal zone and divide it into three parts. After, shift the left strand to the center, and the right under the center.
- And after the newly obtained strand, shift under the strand that has just been central.
- In this way weave the braid to the very end, and fix the tip with an elastic band.
- After, proceed to weaving the second braid according to the same pattern by which you wove the first.

- Starting from the middle of our parting, take the lock and begin to weave the French look of the braid moving diagonally.
- Hair needs to be woven into a braid from two sides, and after horizontal parting, you switch to the usual weaving of three link braids. Fix the tip of the pigtail with an elastic band and proceed to the next step.
- Again we take the lock from the opposite part of the head and weave one more pigtail, and after parting, go into weaving the usual braid. You should get your braids crossed by a cross. Reattach the braid tail with the rubber band.
- Then weave a couple more French braids, turning into ordinary ones. Weave braids in this way until you reach the base of the back of the head.
